Created by Darleanna McHenry, polyglot educator who has studied 7 languages
She has also = traveled to over 40 countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Darleanna knows firsthand that real language learning happens through authentic communication and cultural connection.
This program is offered by St. Carries Center’s SMART Academy (Science, Math, Art, Reading, Technology) Enrichment Program—dedicated to developing well-rounded learners through diverse educational experiences. Learning a new language doesn’t just prepare you for travel—it develops cognitive flexibility, cultural awareness, and opens doors to global opportunities.
